The Company was founded by Jorge Villegas who is a practicing attorney, a certified public accountant in the state of Texas, and U.S. Air Force veteran. After graduating from Cornell Law School in 2002, Mr. Villegas worked as an Assistant City Attorney in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. It was during his tenure as a city attorney that he discovered that local, state, and state government agencies keep money and property that belong to their citizens in order to fund government operations. In 2009, Mr. Villegas decided to go in business for himself and founded the Villegas Law Firm and Villegas CPA Firm and for years has helped his client locate and recover unclaimed property. The need for his unclaimed property services became so great that in 2014 he created a new company by the name of National Money Finders whose sole purpose is to help clients find and recover unclaimed property.

National Money Finders, LLC is a Texas limited liability company, dedicated to helping individuals, companies, non-profit organizations, and government entities recover money and other assets that were forgotten, abandoned, or for some reason never claimed. We are part of an industry of asset recovery professionals specializing in researching and investigating local, state, and national databases to identify money and other assets with the sole purpose of returning them to their rightful owners. The assets we focus on recovering come from databases that are not readily available to the public and will not be found by searching the internet.

We truly enjoy the work that we do because our clients are so grateful and happy when they receive money, they didn’t even know they were entitled to. Our client will not be asked to send us any upfront money since we cover all upfront costs and fees. We only get paid at the end of the process and only if we were successful in recovering unclaimed property for our clients.
